It’s a Freakin’ Baseball
Barry Bonds hits home runs. Or at least he has a bunch in the latter years of his career. On September 17th, 2004, Bonds hit #700.
Wednesday (Oct 27th), the guy who came up with the ball sold it at auction for $804,129. That’s dollars - US. This after about 240 bids were entered. Again, people, it’s a freakin’ baseball.
Of course, since we’re in the US, there are pending lawsuits. One guy claims he should have the ball because he “locked it behind his knees while at the bottom of a scrum”. Cripe. On the other hand, what’s this guy have to lose?
