Oh, to be bed-ridden... but isn't it usually better to be stuck in the tub, Scott?
Sorry, I'll quit--I just couldn't pass up the opportunity:)

I agree, fall is the best season of the year. Holidays (Thanksgiving anyone?), jeans and sweatshirt weather, changing leaves, football, hockey -- good stuff. As for the knocks on February, I agree with most of them, especially back in Michigan where you were still staring two or more months of winter in the face and all of the attendant illnesses, etc. that go with that. I've spent more than a few birthdays in a bathrobe and bed-ridden, which in a certain context would be a good thing (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) but not in this one. Anyone follow that?

I think it's October 15. Right in the middle of the best month.... getting close to Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas. In fact, I think Oct. 15 is the start of the holiday season. Plus, my "anniversary" with my L.I.S.P. is autumn. And October exemplifies autumn, no? Yeah.
