Recently, the NTIA (National Telecommunications and Information Administration) has made a decision to disallow private registrations for .US domain names.

This decision was made blindly by the NTIA. There was not a hearing or an opportunity of any kind to hear a response from the public. To complicate things, none of the articles I’ve read can identify the motive or purpose of this change.

This is not a good thing! This takes away our privacy…worse: for no good reason.
