The Joy of Smoking

I heard a tidbit on Headline News this morning. Thailand has imposed a new cigarette labeling law. Each pack will have a picture depicting a potential hazard of smoking.

Brazil has had this since 2001.

So, what do you think of this whole thing? Too graphic, or “it’s about time”?

A third post? In less than a month? Are your fingers still sore?

And more on topic, I say leave the smokers alone, it’s their life, their choice.

And more off-topic, I’m jealous of the fact that you can generate more comments in one short post about NOT blogging than I do in months of entries.

It’s the smoker’s choice, but I don’t have a problem with the government providing information on the medical problems it causes, especially since society generally ends up paying for it.

But damn, that teeth one is NASTY!

    1. Fingers aren’t sore…I don’t really type much. Lots o’ copyin’ and pastin’.

    2. Won’t leave them alone - smokers are subhuman. Sure, it’s the smoker’s choice - if they do it in a locked room in their basement at least 10 miles from any city limit, then shower, change clothes, and brush teeth before re-joining society.

Let the flaming begin…if I had any real readership, I’m sure that would stoke the flames. Why o’ why do I enjoy taking the other side?
