Hitch in the giddy-up: Turns out the well-driller can’t get in until mid to late October. As a result, we’ve asked the escavator to hold off until early October. Why pay for and put in a road no one will use (except maybe troublemakers)? Yet another delay.

In general, we’re now a bit at the mercy of weather. If the rains come early (as in before we get to the point of a roof), that could push things back until spring. We definitely don’t want that, but at the same time we want it done right.
