Property XI (details)

Well, much of the beginning “major” changes are in place:

  • Driveway is in (you all know that)
  • Well is drilled. Final depth is 206′, and now at 60 gpm (gallons per minute). The well is artesion, so it flows without need for a pump. Generally, this is a good thing. Thursday, they are to take a water sample for its potability (one of the remaining pieces for final loan approval).
  • Septic test holes are dug. There they be–a hazard for animals and children (ok, one could easily get out of the holes, but they are somewhat deep). We filed with the county today to have them come approve our location for septic.
  • While at the county, in order to get a septic permit in process, we had to get an address. So, we have that now.

At this point, it’s a bit of a waiting game. The order of things that need to come together is water potability result, septic approval, loan approval/funding.

So, things are progressing, but visually, not much will change for a few weeks (unfortunately)… I’ll keep you posted.
