Painting the Kids’ Room

The kids' paint job Typical question over the past few weeks: How’s the house coming along? My answer: we’re painting. It feels like it never ends!

We are getting much closer though. And, as mentioned in a previous post, we had some fun in the kids’ room. We elected to splatter paint. There is probably a “proper” way to splatter paint, but we just decided to do it the way one would think: dip a paintbrush in paint and flick / throw it at a wall. Great fun, I tell ya!

Anyway, here are some pictures of the room. In my opinion, like many things in this world, the pictures don’t do it justice. You should come see it. No, really–you should.

How’s the house coming along? I couldn’t resist! Just had to comment on the Splatter Paint Project. You are the coolest parents to let the boys “have at it,” and I’ll just bet it looks great! I like how they dressed to match the room. HA!
