Well, it’s about that time of year again. Black Friday is near. And, as usual, many companies of intentionally (or unintentionally) leaked their pricing on the big sales items.

• Black Friday @ Gotta Deal
  Is a pretty good overview site. The put the most-recent ads obtained at the top, and maintain a good, easy-to-use list along the left (by Store or by Category — handy). Only those stores to which they have the ad is listed, so no chasing your tail.

  This is my 2nd-favorite site. I very much like the layout, but it is a bit misleading. They list many major stores, but there is no guarantee that store’s ad is yet posted–leading to a bit of a wild goose chase.

For the past 5-6 years, each October we’ve ventured to Bauman Farms for our fall / Halloween fun. This year, the weather was absolutely beautiful, and the kids had a blast. Among the activities, they have various mazes (corn, hay, and covered/dark hay maze), a frontier fort with slides, zip lines, massive swings in the barn, various large tube slides, and on and on. They also have an apple sling-shot & apple cannon–complete with targets.

A fun time for all!

Also, James is here! Between the move, the setup of the Barn (that’s still on-going), and James, I’ve been either away from “normal” life, or playing catch-up. Well, I’m closer to being caught-up, so I intend to start posting a bit more again (including pictures). I know I’ve said that before, perhaps it’ll stick this time.
